Bob Bauer is a professor of practice and distinguished scholar in residence at NYU School of Law, where he co-directs the Legislative and Regulatory Process Clinic. He served as White House Counsel to President Obama and co-chaired both the Presidential Commission on Election Administration and the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court. Bauer was general counsel to Obama’s presidential campaigns and has authored numerous publications on law and politics, including After Trump: Reconstructing the Presidency. He is a contributing editor at Lawfare and a frequent commentator on constitutional issues.
