Research Fellow & Production Assistant
Kushal Dev is a research fellow and production assistant at the Knight First Amendment Institute. He graduated with a B.A. in political science concentrated in technology and media governance from Yale University. As a student, Kushal researched the intersection of pop culture, politics, and technology, completing a thesis project examining the impact of social media platforms on celebrity political participation and activism. Prior to joining the Knight Institute, Kushal interned in policy research at the European Commission, in digital analytics at the U.S. Department of State, and in influencer marketing at Curology.
