Dustin Foote

Dustin Foote is a multimedia producer at the Knight First Amendment Institute, where he creates podcasts, videos, and documentary content to support the Institute’s communications and public education efforts.

Before joining the Institute, Foote spent five years at Columbia University’s Office of Public Affairs, producing video news and multimedia projects for the university. He previously worked in sports media as a staff writer at Deadspin and as an associate producer at The Players' Tribune.

Foote holds an M.F.A. in Documentary Filmmaking from Wake Forest University, where he directed two documentary films, and a B.A. from Skidmore College.
