Emily Tripp

Emily Tripp is the executive director of Airwars, a London-based nonprofit that tracks, assesses, archives, and investigates civilian harm claims in conflict-affected nations. She formerly served as the organization’s research manager until 2022. 

Prior to her role at Airwars, Tripp spent five years working in the humanitarian field. Her notable roles include research manager for REACH Initiative, where she was responsible for humanitarian programs in Libya, and a manager at People in Need for its Syrian response mission and its offices in Syria, Turkey, and Iraq. She also served as a manager at International Advisory, Products and Systems Ltd, an international consulting firm where she contributed to technical proposals for UN-funded contracts in Afghanistan and Yemen. 

Tripp has appeared on multiple podcasts to speak on conflicts and civilian harm prevention, including at Lawfare and Just Security.
