Lujain Ibrahim

Lujain Ibrahim is a Ph.D. candidate in social data science at the University of Oxford. Her research investigates sociotechnical approaches to evaluating and governing AI systems, their societal impact, and their relational harms. Formerly, she was a student researcher at Google DeepMind, a Schwarzman Scholar, and a fellow at the Centre for Governance of AI and the Digital Asia Hub. She holds an M.A. in global affairs with concentrations in technology and policy from Tsinghua University and a B.S. in computer engineering from New York University, Abu Dhabi.
