Rozina Ali

Rozina Ali is a journalist based in New York City. She is a contributing writer at The New York Times Magazine and a fellow at the Type Media Center. She writes about the War on Terror, Islamophobia, the Middle East, South Asia, and literature. She was a Cullman Fellow from 2022 to 2023. Her work has appeared in publications including The New Yorker, Harper’s, Foreign Affairs, The Nation, and The American Prospect. Previously, she was on the editorial staff at The New Yorker, and a senior editor at The Cairo Review of Global Affairs based in Cairo, Egypt. Her debut book, Seasons of Fury, provides a recent history of Islamophobia in the United States.
