Federal Reserve Board Policy on Bank Examiner Borrowing
The Federal Reserve Board may change its administrative policy relating to borrowing by bank examiners, to allow bank examiners to borrow or hold credit cards from lending institutions affiliated with banks or bank holding companies which they are authorized to examine. The change proposed would not result in a violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 212 and 213. The OLC does not provide release dates for its opinions, so the release date listed is the date on which the opinion was authored.
