Restrictions on Travel by Voice of America Correspondents
The Secretary of State and Chiefs of Mission may restrict travel by Voice of America correspondents in foreign countries in order to protect their safety, but only under conditions ensuring, to the greatest extent possible, the independence of VOA correspondents. The OLC does not provide release dates for its opinions, so the release date listed is the date on which the opinion was authored.
