The Knight Institute’s Research Advisory Board was created to allow the Institute to draw on the expertise of its previous Visiting Research Scholars when planning for future research projects. Board members contribute to the research program’s growth and development by identifying promising areas for new scholarship, helping to select future Visiting Research Scholar candidates, and connecting the Institute to scholars working in the many disciplines that are relevant to the study of speech, privacy, and technology. Board members serve a two-year term with the possibility of renewal, and are paid a modest stipend for their service.
